Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
Is cleaning my carpet healthy?
If you consider removing dirt, dust mites, fleas & eggs, animal waste, skin
cells, pollen, food crumbs, etc. from your carpet healthy. Yes! Hair, skin
cells, food crumbs among other things, can breed micro organisms like bacteria &
fungi. Also, these things may also attract insects like roaches.
Treating your pet for fleas in conjunction with regular carpet cleanings can
break the flea breeding & hatching cycle.
Which is better way to have my carpet cleaned, dry cleaning or hot water
extraction by truck mount equipment?
Four Seasons offers only H2O extraction. Most carpet manufacturers recommend
this method as the best way to clean and maintain your carpeting. It also is
great for removing allergens & dust mites.
What should I do before one of Four Seasons' carpet technicians arrive to
clean my carpet?
Relax, it's simple. For the best results, just vacuum your carpeted areas
you wish to have clean, picking up as best you can prior to a techs arrival.
This will speed up the process and give us a chance to view you carpet and
identify your carpets needs.
How long does it take for my carpet to dry?
We have had carpets to dry as fast as 2 hours. It depends a lot on the
weather conditions, the amount of humidity in the air and how the air is
circulating in your home. Thick pile carpeting of course takes longer than short
pile. Areas that needed more cleaning solution may take longer to dry as well.
Some things you could do to shorten the drying time is to:
-
Open your windows - if weather permits
-
Turn on any fans you may have
-
Turn on your air conditioner in summer months
-
Turn on your heat during winter months
-
For wet vac services we recommend renting one of our air movers
Our knowledgeable technicians will make the needed recommendations at the
time of service.
Do you deodorize?
Yes. It is included with every carpet cleaning unless you ask us not to. We
offer several fresh and natural scents to compliment your home.
